New Pet for Rasmus?


Only in NYC will you find a duck that will eat directly out of your hand and actually use your foot as a step of sorts to get closer to your hand.  When I walk away, I here a little pitter patter as she waddles behind me.  So cute!  This duck loves her some bread!

I am trying to convince her to hitch a ride South with us.  I think she's considering, but she's obviously made quite a living for herself here in Newport Harbor.  I'm not getting my hopes up.

    That's really funny.. here in Alberta we call ducks targets, and after that, a great meal :) Of course, we don't get NYC ducks here, so we are pretty sure they are not domesticated when they fly past at 60 mph.
