While it's undeniable that maintaining a boat requires effort, the amount of work you'll encounter depends on a few factors, such as the condition of your boat and how well you maintain it. If you acquired a boat hastily and with minimal investment, you may find Israel tour package yourself facing morework while underway compared to someone who invested more time and resources into their boat beforehand. However, regardless of the circumstances, it's inevitable that things will break, and you'll have to fix them. At times, this can be frustrating and tiring. Being handy and having some DIY skills can greatly enhance your cruising experience. So, consider getting a how-to book and practicing your skills to better enjoy your cruising adventures.Sarahnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12630726.post-64424335153694462212023-03-23T09:34:18.044-05:002023-03-23T09:34:18.044-05:00Thanks for sharing this post. Both partners aboard the vessel should share the common desire to travel and embrace the yachtie lifestyle. We have coined a phrase on our boat, “it takes a team to live the dream”.

We have meet too many couples where one partner now stands on the dock wishing to sail over the horizon tomorrow while the spouse is never wanting to set foot on the boat again. It is important for both to have a very clear understanding of the points you make. If both are not suited, the adventure will end.

We know of a couple that decided to cruise. They were both long time sailors but never spent more than a couple of days on the boat at any given time. They announced they were going to cruise the world. Both appeared very excited. They had a big bon voyage party that was even covered by the local media. Two days later they set off. Six days later, divorce was threatened unless they pulled into the closest port. They reached port (this is where we met them) and the boat never left the dock again. They became liveaboards but never sailed. The boat eventully sold and the dream was gone. I guess the silver lining is, they are still together.

My 2 cents.

All the best,

Mark and Cindy
www.creampuff.us
Mark and cindy - s/v Cream Puffhttp://www.creampuff.usnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12630726.post-51689850843423385452013-08-20T16:55:50.287-05:002013-08-20T16:55:50.287-05:00Love it, all of it, every last sentence, and altho...Love it, all of it, every last sentence, and although highly unfortunate had to laugh about the plotter/land scenario too, had never heard of anyone having a mishap in that style before.
