Most of you know that Scott and I have strong roots in the Chicago sailing community. In fact, for a few years Scott was even a beginning sailing instructor at the school located in our home port of Belmont Harbor. Chicago Sailing has been a great supporter and advocate of ours and now we wish to reciprocate. If you are itching to improve your sailing skills and prepare yourself to either live aboard or simply charter in the islands, what better way than to hop aboard a learning vessel with experienced sailors who can help show you the ropes while kicking back with some yummy rum drinks in hand after a hard day's work?
Chicago Sailing regularly offers a Live-Aboard Cruising and Seamanship 303 course which is usually taught on beautiful Lake Michigan, but this winter they are flying south to the beautiful British Virgin Islands. The course details are as follows:
Interested parties should contact Rose at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 773-871-SAIL(7245). You can also BOOK YOUR TRIP ONLINE.
