Our buddy boat, s/v Earthling in Calabash Bay, Bahamas

You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island opportunities and look towards another land.  There is no other land, there is no other life but this.

- Henry David Thoreau

Love this quote. Hope you don't mind that I "borrowed" it. Safe travels.

Hi,

Awhile ago, in an editor's note in a guest post by your brother Kevin, you mentioned the word graybeards as a way to describe the waves. I just ran across the following sentence while reading Maiden Voyage by Tania Aebi: "as far as the eye could see, there was nothing but angry graybeards marching toward an eternal horizon". It is on page 9.

Should be Mahi time. How is the fishing?

Clarencetown was one of my favorite places. Great island to see (hitch hiking or rental car) The anchorage on the East side of the harbor offers the best protection, with okay holding. There is awesome snorkeling on the east side further south where the harbor connects to the ocean and the conch burger at Rowdy Boys is amazing.

Keep living the dream!
