Independence Day

I'm not sure there is anywhere else in the USA that celebrates the Fourth of July like the midwest.  We happened to spend the morning in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and enjoyed seeing the summertime festivities in this little town by the lake.  Nothing says Independence day like strolling along a river walk with a waffle cone of ice cream, grill outs, kids in red white and blue, home-made boat races and sunshine.  America is not perfect, but it is great and I am so thankful to be from a country where I have a choice, where I have a voice, and where I am free to be whomever I want to be.  Even if it is a dreamer who lives like a gypsy at sea.

Love,
Brittany & Scott
